| The
construction of the wine cellars under the existing
castle were part of the general reconstruction done
between the years 1696 and 1703.
Especially interesting is the semicircular floor
plan which is repeated in the architecture of
the citrus hall above the cellars.
These same cellars, now equipped with temperature
and humidity controllers, are the location of
wine production and maturation using full barrels
of French oak.
